Following the navigation of the WebSite, we inform you that ECEPLAST will process information about you, which may consist of your first name, last name, email address, gender and date of birth (hereinafter only “Personal Data”).Your Personal Data may be collected either because you voluntarily provide it (eg when you subscribe to the Newsletter, when you request to be contacted in order to receive information on the services / products offered by ECEPLAST) or simply by analyzing your behavior on the WebSite. The Personal Data processed through the WebSite are as follows:

While browsing the WebSite, including, in particular, in the contact section or in the case of sending applications, you will be asked for information such as your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, country of residence , address, etc. The Personal Data you provide for this purpose will be processed by ECEPLAST as described in the specific information provided therein.

Special categories of personal data 

By submitting a contact request or an application you can provide ECEPLAST with some free information that may contain Personal Data. Given that with such free information you could communicate (voluntarily or not) some sensitive categories of Personal Data, such as data suitable to reveal racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical convictions, union membership, genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data related to the health or sex life or sexual orientation of the person, ECEPLAST invites you not to send such Personal Data unless strictly necessary.
In consideration of the fact that the sending of such information is totally optional, please take into consideration that such special categories of Personal Data may be processed only with your explicit consent and in compliance with the pro tempore legislation in force. ECEPLAST underlines, therefore, the importance of expressing your explicit consent to the processing of the special categories of Personal Data, should you decide to share such information, and that said data will not be processed in case they are not strictly related to the specific purposes of the report.

Data provided voluntarily by the interested party

As already mentioned above, in some parts of the WebSite you are allowed to enter text messages, visible to ECEPLAST, which may contain (voluntarily or otherwise) Personal Data of other people. With respect to these assumptions, you are entitled to be an independent data controller, assuming all the legal obligations and responsibilities. In this sense, confer on the point the widest indemnity with respect to any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damage from treatment, etc. that were to reach ECEPLAST from third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through your use of the functions of the WebSite in violation of the rules on the protection of personal data applicable. In any case, if you provide or otherwise treat Personal Data of third parties in the use of the WebSite, guarantee right now – assuming any related liability – that this particular hypothesis of treatment is based on the consent of such third party or on another appropriate legal basis which legitimizes the processing of the information in question.

Navigation data collected anonymously

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the WebSite acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected by ECEPLAST to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the WebSite, the addresses in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the WebSite and to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and / or abuses. Except in cases where the data are used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the WebSite or third parties, these data do not persist for more than seven days.

3. Purposes of processing 

ECEPLAST will use your Personal Data collected through the WebSite for the following purposes: Verify your identity and help you, send you the ECEPLAST newsletter you have requested as a Service and which contains only informative and non-commercial material; send you any information you have explicitly requested; finalize your order and execute the supply of goods and services requested; allow you to request a quote or find the ECEPLAST office nearest you and provide any other Service you require (“Service Delivery”);  Sending marketing communications, promotions and advertising, including market research and surveys, through e-mail, banner, through an operator and through the official ECEPLAST social pages, related to ECEPLAST products and services and third parties (“Marketing “); Obtaining legal obligations that require ECEPLAST to collect and / or further process certain types of Personal Data (“Compliance”);  Prevent or detect any abuse in the use of the WebSite or any fraudulent activity (“Abuse / Fraud”). 

4. Legal basis and mandatory or optional nature of the processing 

The legal bases used by ECEPLAST to process your Personal Data, according to the purposes indicated in the previous Paragraph 3, are the following:

Supply of goods and services: the processing for this purpose is necessary to provide you with the products and / or services and, therefore, for the execution of the pre-contractual phase and / or the contract in place with you. The provision of your Personal Information to ECEPLAST for this purpose is not mandatory, but otherwise it will not be possible to provide you with any Service.

Marketing: processing for this purpose is based on your consent. It is not mandatory to give your consent to ECEPLAST for this purpose and you are free to cancel it at any time without any consequence (if you can no longer receive marketing communications from ECEPLAST). You can revoke the consent previously given by following the instructions in Paragraph 8 of this Notice.

Compliance: processing for this purpose is necessary for ECEPLAST to fulfill any legal obligations. When you provide Personal Data to ECEPLAST, they will be processed according to the applicable legislation, which could result in their retention and communication to the Authorities for accounting, tax or other obligations.

Abuse / Fraud: the information collected for this purpose will be used exclusively to prevent and / or identify any fraudulent activity or abuse in the use of the WebSite (with criminal relevance).

5. Recipients of personal data

Your Personal Data may be shared with the following individuals (the “Recipients”): Subjects that typically act as data controllers, that is: i) people, companies or professional firms that provide ECEPLAST assistance and advice in accounting, administrative, legal, tax, financial and credit recovery related to the supply of goods and / or services; Subjects with whom it is necessary to interact for the provision of goods and services (eg hosting providers or platform providers for sending e-mails); Subjects delegated to perform technical maintenance activities (including maintenance of network equipment and electronic communications networks); Persons authorized by ECEPLAST to process Personal Data necessary to perform activities strictly related to the provision of goods and services, whether they are committed to confidentiality or have an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality (eg employees of ECEPLAST); ECEPLAST Group companies for internal administrative purposes, including the processing of personal data of customers and employees; Subjects, entities or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your Personal Data for purposes of Compliance, Abuse or Fraud, or for orders of the authorities;

6. Transfers of personal data 

Your personal data is stored on servers located within the European Union. In any case it is understood that Eceplast as Owner, if necessary, will have the right to move the servers even outside the EU. In this case, the Data Controller hereby ensures that the transfer of non-EU data will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, subject to the stipulation of the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission. ECEPLAST ensures that the processing of your Personal Data by these Recipients takes place in compliance with applicable regulations and with adequate guarantees, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other guarantees considered adequate. More information is available at ECEPLAST by writing to the following address:

7.Conservation of Personal Data 

Personal Data processed for the purpose of Supply of goods and services will be retained by ECEPLAST for the time strictly necessary for the pursuit of the aforementioned purpose. In any case, as such Personal Data is processed to provide you with the goods and services, ECEPLAST may retain them for a longer period, in particular as may be necessary in order to protect the interests of ECEPLAST from possible liability for such supply. The Personal Data processed for the purposes of Marketing will be kept by ECEPLAST until the revocation of the consent you have given and renewed periodically. Once your consent is revoked, ECEPLAST will no longer use your Personal Data for such purposes, but may in any case retain it, particularly as may be necessary in order to protect the interests of ECEPLAST from possible liability based on such processing. Personal Data processed for the purpose of Compliance will be retained by ECEPLAST for the period specified by specific legal obligations or applicable legislation. The Personal Data processed to prevent Abuse / Fraud will be retained by ECEPLAST for the time strictly necessary for the aforesaid purposes and therefore until the time when ECEPLAST will be required to keep them to protect themselves in court to communicate such data to the competent Authorities.

8. Rights of the interested party 

In relation to the processing of personal data carried out by Eceplast you have the right to ask at any time: access to data concerning you, their correction or cancellation pursuant to art. 17 of the GDPR, the integration of incomplete data, the limitation of processing; to receive, in a structured format, in common and automatic way, the Data, as well as, if technically feasible, to transmit them to another holder without impediments in the event that the conditions for the exercise of the right to portability ‘art. 20 of the GDPR (the treatment is based on consent pursuant to Article 6.1 letter a) or art. 9.2, lett. a) or on the contract pursuant to art. 6.1, lett. b) of the GDPR and is carried out using automated tools); to revoke the consent given at any time for the purposes referred to in the previous art. 3 and oppose, in whole or in part, to the processing in the cases allowed; to propose a claim to the Guarantor, as well as to exercise the other rights recognized by the applicable regulations (articles 16-21 GDPR). You can also exercise your rights by writing to ECEPLAST at the following address: In any case, you are always entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data is contrary to the law in force.

9. Changes 

This Statement is effective from 25/05/18. ECEPLAST reserves the right to modify or simply update its contents, partly or completely, also due to changes in the applicable legislation. ECEPLAST will inform you of these changes as soon as they are introduced and they will be binding as soon as they are published on the WebSite.
