US patent for bulk liner safety system
For many years, the liner industry has been trying to provide a safer and more cost effective solution to secure the area of the container doors when loading bulk materials, Eceplast says that several attempts had not fully succeeded until the Italian firm developed its own model – the Barless Liner– that has obtained a US patent.
Eceplast says the BSS (Barless Safety System) reduces packaging costs but more importantly, increases safety as well as simplifying operations when moving free-flowing bulk goods in maritime containers. The BSS is suitable for any conventional discharging equipment and is adjustable according to specific HSE measures requested by the receiving customer.
ECE Barless Liners in combination with the Barless Safety System (BSS), eliminates the costs and risks of the steel bars usage at bulkhead area, maximizing the advantage of bulk shipments in containers.
Available with multi-layer coextruded LDPE film or full woven fabric, the ECE BARLESS Liners come with a specifically designed woven fabric at Bulkhead, secured with the BSS, which at one time, increase the level of safety and ease of handling, replacing the commonly used steel bars. The Barless Safety System (BSS) is made of very resistant and durable materials to allow an easier reconditioning and a safe reuse.
Project and produce to reuse is a responsible policy that, we at Eceplast are encouraging and sustaining granting a refund of 10usd for each kit returned.
Because of the increased level of safety for operators, Eceplast is willing to license the model to other manufacturers interested in delivering this solution for end users.
