ECEpack: a new industrial player in multi-layer paper packaging

At the end of 2025, ECEpack was established as a new production company and spin-off of ECEplast, dedicated to the development, manufacturing and marketing of multiwall paper bags for industrial applications.

ECEpack represents the natural evolution of ECEplast’s industrial journey, inheriting a solid foundation of production assets, technical expertise, human resources and market relationships, now consolidated within the new manufacturing facility in Manfredonia (FG), Italy. At the same time, it operates as an independent company, with a clear identity and a dedicated strategy.

The initial focus is on the automotive sector, currently the main field of application for multiwall paper bags, with the goal of ensuring high standards of product protection, logistics efficiency and packaging quality.

The creation of ECEpack comes at a time of significant transformation in the packaging industry, characterised by a growing demand for sustainable solutions and the gradual replacement of plastic materials with paper-based alternatives, also in response to the new European regulatory framework under the PPWR.

Within this context, ECEpack positions itself as an innovation- and sustainability-driven player, supporting customers through a consultative approach and developing increasingly high-performance and efficient protective packaging solutions.

Alongside the consolidation in the automotive sector, the company’s strategy includes a gradual diversification into new application areas, such as sports equipment and upholstered products (mattresses and pillows), while maintaining a strong focus on industrial efficiency and product quality.

With ECEpack, the Altobelli family strengthens its presence in the industrial packaging sector, expanding its range of solutions and reaffirming its commitment to a more sustainable production model.
