Eceplast applies to European voluntary pledge for circular economy
In compliance with the first-ever Europe-wide Plastics Strategy, Ecpelast has submitted its voluntary pledge for make all its products recyclable by 2030.
The European Union with the European strategy for Plastics in a circular Economy will transform the way plastic products are designed, used, produced and recycled.
Eceplast, in accordance with the EU plastics strategy and to meet the needs of its customers, is establishing agreements with European operators involved in the collect and recycle plastic goods.
Eceplast has started to build a network of European operators for collecting and recycling used liners for a green world.
In a world where the issue of littering it is ever worrying and plastic is the biggest polluter, it is responsibility of the producers and consumers to properly manage the good to turn it into resource.
From 2006 to 2016 in Eu 28, the total waste collected are increased 11%, the energy recovery +61%, recycling +79% while the waste in landfill are decreased by 43% (source: www.plasticseurope.org); to improve these trends, Eceplast, like the best European companies in the plastics industry, wants increase its sustainability policies and contribute to a full circular economy.
